SHINee pronounced as “shiny”  is a contemporary R&B South Korean boy band . Formed by SM Entertainment in 2008 , they made their debut on May 25, 2008 on SBS’s Popular Songs with their promotional single, “Nunan Neomu Yeppeo [Replay] ( 누난 너무 예뻐 ) . The group consists of Onew, Jonghyun, Key, Minho, and Taemin.
On 15 November 2008 SHINee won the “Best Male Rookie” award at the 10th annual MNET KM Music Festival , beating fellow newcomers U-Kiss, 2PM, 2AM and Mighty Mouth.
SHINee is known for their fashion style , created by designer Ha Sang Baek 하상백 , which features high-top sneakers , skinny jeans and colorful sweaters . This has led to product endorsements , and the band has promoted Smart , Korean cosmetic company Nana’s B, and Reebok .
SHINee also had a reality show, SHINee’s YunHaNam , hosted by Mnet . The show ran from 8 August to 16 October 2008 with a total of twelve episodes . Each episode featured the band members going on a date with an older woman , after which she would chose one member for a solo date .The group also recorded a song , “Stand By Me” for the Korean drama , Boys Over Flowers . In addition to promoting Smart , SHINee recorded the “Blue Pink Song”, to further promote their product . SHINee also recorded a digital single “Bodyguard” to promote Samsung’s Anycall mobile phone . They have also recorded a song titled “Countdown” for the drama Dream and “Fly High” for Prosecutor Princess .
In January 2010 , SHINee starred as fathers to a young boy named YooGeun in the second season of KBS’s Hello Baby .
SM Entertainment revealed individual photo teasers of each member for the new album starting with Minho on 8 July 2010 and ending with Key on 12 July 2010 . The group was originally set to have their comeback stage on KBS Music Bank , 16 July to kick start their promotions for the new album , but due to Minho injuring himself during a Dream Team 2 filming on 8 July 2010 , the comeback was postponed to 23 July 2010 .
The second full length album entitled Lucifer was released on 19 July 2010 in South Korea . The music video promoting Lucifer was released the next day on 20 July 2010 .
On 30 September 2010 , SHINee release their repackage album HELLO and MV teaser . They made their comeback stage on Music Bank on the 1st October 2010 .

SM Entertainment mengungkapkan penggoda foto individu dari setiap anggota untuk album baru yang diawali dengan Minho pada tanggal 8 Juli 2010 dan berakhir dengan Key pada tanggal 12 Juli 2010. Kelompok ini semula dijadwalkan untuk memiliki tahap comeback mereka di KBS Music Bank, 16 Juli hingga kick memulai promosi mereka untuk album baru, namun karena Minho melukai dirinya sendiri saat Dream Team 2 film pada tanggal 8 Juli 2010, kembali ditunda sampai 23 Juli 2010.
Yang album kedua yang berjudul full Lucifer dirilis pada tanggal 19 Juli 2010 di Korea Selatan. Video musik mempromosikan Lucifer dibebaskan pada hari berikutnya pada 20 Juli 2010.
Pada tanggal 30 September 2010, SHINee repackage album mereka merilis HELLO dan penggoda MV. Mereka membuat panggung comeback mereka di Music Bank pada 1 Oktober 2010.
